 An inspiring new concept pack for spray products, named the Buzz, will be launched at Interpack 2005. The Buzz presents the opportunity for shelf differentiation an delivers a new perspective on the steel aerosol can. The Buzz is designed To Inspire – reflecting the way packaging steel producer Corus Packaging Plus presents itself at Interpack 2005. For spray product packaging, Corus Packaging Plus has identified three key requirements: differentiation, spray convenience and ease of production. The solution to meet these requirements is provided by separating the functions of an aerosol, spraying and holding a product. One part of the Buzz, the plastic outer reservoir, holds the content and brings unlimited design potential, while another, the steel aerosol, provides the convenient spray function. All in one simple pack. The Buzz combines convenience with a total freedom of design. A wide variety of shapes, materials, colours and decorations are available to create a unique look and feel. Imagine the differentiation on retailers shelves and the unique consumer experience. The nozzle mixes propellant and product via the Venturi principle, therefore no specific aerosol compatible product formulations are required. The outer, non-pressurised plastic container gives freedom of material and design. And last but not least, the standard steel aerosol with standard propellant, serves as the pressure cartridge. Developing and assembling the Buzz is simple. Its smart, innovative design widens the scope for co-operative partnerships. Eliminating the pressure requirements for the product reservoir gives new options for both the development of the reservoir and the filling. Now everybody can make aerosols that are different!
