CPP awarded Gold for innovative aerosol concept can at World Canmakers Summit

During last weeks “World Canmakers Summit” in Barcelona, the results of the annual Can of the Year competition were made public. This annual and world wide competition is organized by the global packaging magazine “The Canmaker”. The international jury had the challenging task to judge nearly 150 entries which were submitted from all over the world. In the category Prototype Packaging Formats, Corus Packaging Plus was awarded a Gold prize for its innovative aerosol concept “the Buzz”, which earlier this year was successfully introduced at the Interpack exhibition. The jury praised the versatility of the concept and its potential to realize innovations in the supply chain.

In the same category, Prototype Packaging Formats, DS Containers was awarded the bronze Award for its 2-piece aerosol made of Protact, Corus’ polymer coated steel. This revolutionary aerosol was also launched by DS Containers and Corus Packaging Plus at the Interpack exhibition.
